Privacy Policy

Shadesology (“we”, “us”) operates this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have under U.S. state privacy laws including California CCPA/CPRA, Virginia VCDPA and Colorado CPA when those laws apply to our business thresholds.

Information we collect

• Contact details you submit (name, email, phone, ZIP) on quotes, installer applications and accounts.
• Order and project details (product, dimensions, photos you upload).
• Account credentials and order history if you create an account.
• Technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed (cookies / analytics, when enabled).

Analytics

We record first-party funnel events in your browser (page views, configurator starts, installer searches, quotes, cart and checkout) so we can measure the order path. Optional Google Analytics (GA4) loads only if you accept analytics cookies and a measurement ID is configured. You can reject optional cookies on first visit.

How we use it

• To quote, manufacture, ship and install products.
• To match you with certified installers near your ZIP.
• To send order updates and, if you opt in, product news by email or SMS.
• To improve the site and prevent fraud.

Sharing

We share data with installers assigned to your job, freight carriers, payment/financing partners, and service providers (hosting, email). We do not sell personal information. We do not use your project photos for marketing without consent.

Your rights

Depending on your state, you may request access, correction, deletion, or opt-out of sale/share and targeted advertising. Submit a request at /privacy/dsar, email privacy@shadesology.com or call (800) 555-0137. We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Account passwords are handled by our auth provider. Card data, when checkout is enabled, will be processed by a PCI-DSS compliant processor and never stored on our servers.
